Description
A 36 yr Multiparous women presented with pain in abdomen on and off since 1 month and nausea since 2 days. On examination mass palpable arising from the pelvis ~ 20-22 weeks size occupying hypogastric, and both iliac quadrants of the abdomen .Firm to hard nodular mass felt in right and posterior fornix.
Patient underwent exploratory laparotomy with subtotal abdominal hysterectomy + bilateral salphingo oophorectomy. Laparotomy did not revealed any lymphadenopathy.
Left side huge irregular firm to hard mass + replacing the entire ovarian tissue, mobile . Right side moderate size same type mass + specimen sent to histopathology.
Histology showed metastatic adenocarcinoma.
Patient referred to Gastroenterologist to find out the primary carcinoma.
Biopsy from stomach sent to histology shows carcinoma of stomach.
Post operative period was uneventful and pt referred to cancer hospital for further management.
