Description
A 40 year old female presented to Gynae OPD with complaints of recurrent burning micturition and difficulty in micturition and continuous pain and discomfort in lower abdomen since 2 month with regular menstrual cycle. She is P1L1 with last child birth 24years back with was delivered by normal vaginal delivery.
On PER ABDOMEN examination - Uterus of approx 14 week size felt which was firm in consistency, mobile with irregulary distinct margins.
On BIMANUAL P/V examination - uterus approx 14 weeks size confirmed which was irregularly enlarged, firm in consistency, deviated to right side with restricted mobility.
USG report came suggestive of large multiple uterine fibroids.
All routine investigations came normal.
OPERATIVE FINDINGS- Uterus with large calcified mass extending from fundal region to right fallopian tube part of ovary and cervical region with distorted anatomy found attached with urinary bladder diverticulum.
